Mr. McCann is an associate attorney at VCM with a focus on first and third-party property litigation.

Born and raised in Boynton Beach, Florida, Mr. McCann moved to Miami to attend the Florida International University College of Law. While attending FIU Law he served as primary law clerk to a full-service boutique law firm in downtown Miami specializing in commercial, consumer, and business litigation. There, Mr. McCann worked under the close mentorship of one of the firm’s partners on cases at all stages of litigation—including several appeals.

Mr. McCann went on to graduate in the top-20 of his class, pass the Florida Bar Exam, and begin his legal career as a litigation associate for another boutique firm in Brickell where he practiced general civil litigation handling a variety of cases running the gamut of legal issues in both State and Federal courts. During this time, Mr. McCann advocated on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in cases covering car accident-related negligence, premises liability, civil rights claims arising from medical malpractice, contractual and commercial disputes, business torts, and even complex litigation surrounding shareholders in a high-level corporate transaction with claims/counterclaims in the tens of millions.

Now, Mr. McCann wields his wealth of legal knowledge and background in real estate, construction, and property development, to bring his best on behalf of every VCM client.
